This weekend I had the joy of arranging flowers for a private event at the Union Oyster House in Boston. This restaurant is the OLDEST continuous restaurant in the country! It is the most charming historic venue and a source of great pride that is here in my beloved city of Boston. If only those walls could talk! Or maybe they do, after all. Stepping in the restaurant, one is transported to an early time, a time when our country was new with fresh brave idealists. To move forward we need to pay homage to the past. If you are ever in Boston, treat yourself to a wonderful experience and go to the Union Oyster House – and do get a bowl of chowder!
